My Saving The Book Tart event is wrapping up this weekend but I’ll never forget all the support and encouragement I’ve received from the book community. My ceiling has been replaced and my wood floors will be fixed, my damaged personal belongings (including only a few books) will be taken care of by the insurance company (hopefully!)… But through all this nightmare craziness I’ve been blown away by everyone’s kindness. 🙂 Continue reading “Saving The Book Tart – Guest Post by Karen Booth + Contest!”

The Book Tart Episode 59 ~ Karen Booth’s Back Forever

Review of Back Forever

Back Forever is a beautiful story. I love seeing what happens after the fairytale come true. This novel is the continuation of Chris and Claire’s romance that began in Bring Me Back and it is full of life, loss, happy, sad and love, Twu wuv. (I couldn’t help it 😛 ) But yes, true love. Their relationship matures and grows and I loved every minute of the journey. READ Karen Booth. 😀

Google Giggle Hangout with Karen Booth!

I loved Karen Booth’s novel Bring Me Back, it’s actually one of my favorite books from last year! Click HERE for my review. Soooo when I found out she was continuing the story of Chris and Claire I was ecstatic! Back Forever didn’t disappoint me. I fell right back into their world and was swept along for the ride. I love seeing the next chapter of their romance and how they build their life together after the “I love yous”.

I hope you enjoy my spazz out and Karen’s answers to my ramblings. (She’s a darling!) Oh! I love these characters and I’m giving you a chance to meet them too. Make sure you enter my contest at the bottom of the post. *waves down*

She has a brand new book! Bring Me Back came out Saturday, January 19! *Kermit Flail* Party time! It is so good! I love her way with words. I’ve been giggling and sighing and nodding my head as I’ve read it. 😀

UPDATE! just finished Bring Me Back and I LOVE it.

Not So Random Reading from For Keeps

I met Karen Booth last fall when she hung out my my virtual couch and chatted about her new contemporary romance For Keeps…. I just recently read it! *head/desk* I know! Bad llama! But I am so thankful I met her and did read her book. (finally!) I adored her characters and writing style. Listen to this excerpt. *points down* She has a very lyrical quality to her writing and I loved her storytelling. Click HERE for my belated review. 😉

I am excited about her upcoming release Bring Me Back. It’s out January 20th and I’m reading it this week. <g> I have Karen visiting The Book Tart next Thursday to chat about it and I’ll post my review too. 😀

Oh! Karen put me in the hot seat! Click HERE to see my turn in Karen’s Rock N Roll High School.

For Keeps

by Karen Booth

I have been intrigued by older woman, younger man relationships since I read my first romance with that dynamic when I was a teen. (It was Jude Deveraux’s The Invitation) When I read the synopsis for Karen Booth’s For Keeps I knew I had to try it… I’m just sorry I waited so long. I read it a few weekends ago on a plane ride and I couldn’t put it down until the final page. I loved the tenderness and the heat.  😉
