I LOVE Beth Ciotta’s Cupcake Lover’s series! I adore her dialogue and characters and was rooting for Luke and Rae’s relationship to succeed. I want to visit Sugar Creek and join the Cupcake Lover’s Club… I’d be like Luke though and not too adept at baking… If you’re looking for a deliciously fun contemporary romance pick up Anything But Love.
Yay! It’s my girl Beth Ciotta book birthday! I love! love! love Beth. She’s my darlin’ dear and my friend. I read The Trouble With Love here in the Caribbean on my work trip. It was a delicious escape and I highly recommend this contemporary romance.
Oh! Oh! I filmed a vlog review for The Trouble With Love on the patio as the sun was setting one night last week here in the Turks. Click HERE to see it.
I read Beth Ciotta’s The Trouble With Love here in the Caribbean. I loved it so much! I adore Beth’s dialogue and characters… *swoon* I didn’t plan well and forgot to bring my video camera so I used my laptop’s webcam and well… It’s a bit different, but I think you can see how I feel about The Trouble With Love!

We LOVE books. We’re crazy for books and boys. So we decided Valentine’s week was a great time to share some of our favorite guys and asked their authors to join in the fun. Each of the paricipating authors has interviewed their guy and a few of them wrote limericks too! Some are very, very good and some are deliciously bad. The boys are from a variety of fiction genres, Romance, Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Erotic Romance, Urban Fantasy, Sci-fi, Steampunk, New Adult and YA ….but they all have guys we heart!

I’m reading a bit from the new steampunk novel Her Sky Cowboy by Beth Ciotta. I truly enjoyed this book and wanted to share one of my favorite scenes.
Oh! Be sure to check out my interview with Beth for a chance to win this book. Click HERE
And speaking of steampunk… 😛 I had the chance to interview Jillian Stone about her delicious steampunky books. Click HERE for the chat and a contest too!
I adore Beth Ciotta! I met her at a Romantic Times Book Convention event in 2011 and she volunteered to take pictures of my friends and me participating in a costume competition. She was just so sweet and darling. 🙂 I was a fan before, because of her books, but after getting to know her even better and finding out what a genuinely warm, generous and fun person she is, I fell deeper in love… And she’s blushing <g> (it’s all true,Beth!)
I am so thrilled to chat with her about the launch of her brand new steampunk series The Glorious Victorious Darcys. I was privileged to read Her Sky Cowboy early and I fell completely in love with the world building. I have always related to Beth’s characters and enjoyed her sparkling dialogue but I was a bit uncertain about this new genre. I am happy to report that Her Sky Cowboy captivated me! Check out my vlog spazzing out about it (in a steampunk costume too!)
Join me in celebrating Beth’s book birthday and get cozy for our chat. Don’t forget to scroll down to the Rafflecopter at the bottom of the post for a chance to win Her Sky Cowboy!
Yay! Beth Ciotta has a book birthday this week 🙂 Her steampunk romance Her Sky Cowboy is out on Tuesday and I was lucky enough to get an advanced reader copy of it. I raced through the adventure and loved it! I adore Beth’s dialogue and her spin on the steampunk world was fascinating. I can’t wait for the next installment of The Glorious Victorious Darcy’s next spring 🙂
Come back Tuesday for a fun interview with Beth and a contest.
I highly recommend Fool For Love! It’s everything, and more, that you could want from a contemporary romance. It is full of heart, hope, humor and heat! Chloe is a very relatable heroine that I was rooting for and wanted to be friends with. You’re introduced to her at a rough point in her life. Her boyfriend has just dumped her for a women he met on his travels and had an affair with while Chloe was finishing culinary school. So she has her crisp new diploma but the rest of her life has just gone down the tubes. Her best friend, Monica, calls and invites her to move to the town of Sugar Creek and work as a companion while she gets her life back together. -Side note- I adored all the secondary characters! The girl talk between Chloe and Monica and later on with Rocky and The Cupcake Lovers Club was funny and warm and I could imagine being involved in the conversations. Ok, where was I? Oh! yes, so Chloe makes the decision to start fresh and moves from city life to a small town in Vermont where she will be a companion to an older lady named Daisy.
I am ecstatic to have the beautiful Beth Ciottavisting The Book Tart today! Tomorrow is the official release date of Fool For Love, the first novel in her new contemporary romance series The Cupcake Lovers. (click on the title to see the full synopsis)

Me: Hi Beth darling! Welcome to The Book Tart. Come in, come in. Have a seat. *moves books off my virtual couch* There. Can I get you some tea or coffee? And I have cupcakes! We will play tea party like when we were little girls 🙂 our cups and food are pretend but our imaginations are full. My favorite cupcake flavor varies depending on my mood and the moon. But right now, it’s red velvet *sigh* with cream cheese frosting. What’s your favorite right now?
Beth: Hi, Kat! *cozies up next to the vibrant red head in the cool cupcake dress* I’ll have a cup of java, please, and I can’t believe it. You just named my recent favorite cupcake! Ah, great minds and all that.
