I love to read series, I love seeing my favorite characters again. *sigh* I am looking forward to curling up and reading Kelly Jamieson’s new contemporary romance, Jilted and the rest of the books in the Promise Harbor series. I also love that I don’t have to wait forever for the next book in this series. Check out the Promise Harbor website, Click HERE
Oh! Oh! The covers are exquisite!
Enjoy the pretty *points down*

The Queen of Tarts
There’s definitely love in the air, but things are going to get a little crazy before anyone gets to happily ever after.

I’m a married mother of two who lives a very ordinary life outside of my imagination. When I’m not writing I’m usually reading. I also like to cook and that means I like to read cookbooks and cooking magazines. In the summer I enjoy spending time gardening and in the winter I like to read gardening magazines and seed catalogues. I love lying on the beach or on my deck with a glass of wine and a good book. I also love to travel. As you can see, pretty much all my activities involve reading somehow! Although I don’t have as much time for it any more, I also love to shop, especially for clothes and shoes. Some think I’m obsessed with shoes but that is not true (although my husband would point out that there is no room left in our closet).
I love to hear from readers, so Tweet me on Twitter, leave me a comment on Goodreads or Amazon or my blog , or email me at info (at) kellyjamieson.com. http://blog.kellyjamieson.com/

Book 2 in the Promise Harbor Series
Bolted
(Promise Harbor Wedding)
Sometimes you have to get lost before you can find yourself.
Greta Brewster McBain in a bind. Two, if she’s really counting. First there’s the can-barely-breathe, bridesmaid’s dress from hell. Second, the stranger who just carried her “perfect” brother’s fiancée out the church door has made it impossible to tell her own mother about her own divorce.
Rather than confirm her reputation as the family screw-up, Greta takes a drive to clear her head.
Trapped in a hole and unable to reach his cell phone, Hank Mitchell is resigned to becoming a permanent part of his own archeological dig when help arrives—in the form of a woman who looks like a Gone With The Wind refugee. Behind the ruffles and lace, though, is something he appreciates: a woman who isn’t afraid of a little dirt.
Their instant connection draws Greta into the eccentric world of the Hotel Grand, where she impulsively trades her hoopskirts for an apron. Soon things are getting hot, not only in the hotel kitchen, but in Hank’s arms…
Warning: Contains hot moonlit sex, a melancholy turtle, two wisecracking seniors, and the world’s ugliest bridesmaid dress.

I love that you get to the know the characters. They start feeling like family. You start getting an attachment to them.
*sigh* yep, family. I do think that’s my fav part about series too

It’s nice to know that at the end of a book you are not saying goodbye because you get to visit them again in the rest of the books! (and on the rereads of course! lol)

I enjoy series books because of the common theme and the character development.
Yep! *nods* seeing the characters grow and relationships develop is one of my fav things too.

I love being able to continue hearing about my favorite characters. It makes it feel as though I’m there even more.
Jilted was awesome! I loved it. I can’t wait to read Bolted and the other two books. Thanks for sharing!

You read Jilted?! Oh! Oh! I adore Kelly and I’m eager to read it too.

When I finish a book, I feel like I have lost contact with a good friend. I like to read series books because that way I feel like I get to catch up and spend time with those friends again.
Yes! exactly that. One of my fav series of all is JD Robb’s In Death because I love watching the characters grow and change and relationships get stronger!
Thanks for saying hi!

This series looks like a lot of fun and I can’t wait to read the entire thing:)
I know! And the covers are beautiful!
Thanks for stopping in Maria- You rock!

I think it’s the whole thing of wanting more of whatever that first book read in a series makes me feel – happy, sexy, or even a sad feeling. Whatever it was, I want more. The author has already proven themselves so it’s a good bet.
With something like OUTLANDER I think I just wanted Jamie Fraser to come out of the book and take over my husband’s body while at the same time subsuming his physical attributes with Jamie Fraser’s. How else can I say that without sounding like a fantasy skank?

rotflol I’ll be a fantasy skank with you 😉 I love Jamie Fraser too and want to be called Sassenach with a Scottish lilt! I love reading (and rereading) series so I can spend more time and see my fav characters journey.

I like really getting to know the characters and seeing them grow. The best series are those when the hero and heroine don’t ride off into the sunset, but we see them after their HEA as they continue to develop.
Oh gosh hehe this is the second time I been asked this question today the answer for me will always be easy and the same I LOVE reading series books and often get addicted to them 🙂 its always exciting getting the next book and venturing with the character to the next chapter in their life and watching them progress and grow. It makes you feel really like you are a part of that, as if you know them personally. Always sad when a series ends, but I like knowing what happens beyond book 1!
I think these books sound super good. I also really like the cover of all the books!
I love continuing or related stories, esp contemp ones. And the bride storyline is of interest to me.
I like series because it gives a small peak at the characters you liked in the LAST book.

I enjoy the real life situations, the real hot romance, and the triumph of the (hopefully) happily ever after.
Thanks for the opportunity.
I enjoy the hope, real life situations and of course the romance. Everyone deserves a happy ever after.
Ones that keep me in suspense and that has characters I can grow with.
I have not read any of these yet but I am loving the one word title and the discalamers..
