Part Three

Finally! This is the conclusion of Eloisa James’ serial novella. It gave me what I’d been waiting for. My notes throughout this story have been *sighs* and *crying*. Sometimes my stomach hurt for the characters and well… I was blissfully happy when the story took a hotter and happier turn for Colin and Grace.

court of reviews poster + queenIn the finale Colin and Grace have to face each other and be honest. There’s been misunderstandings and hurts that need to be dealt with. They are also facing Colin’s physical and emotional damage from the wars. I was so ready for the sensuality in this story. It’s delicious and I loved the heat level. *swoon* I also liked that his trauma was not just magically fixed but that they have to work at it.

A few of my fav lines:

“I want you, Grace,” he repeated. “You. I’ve dreamed about making love to you so many times.”

Perhaps his body wasn’t made for war, but for her. For her pleasure, for her amusement.

“You’re mine,” he murmured, keeping his weight on his elbows. The he kissed her forehead. “Mine. My darling. My Grace.”

Now that all three parts are available I can recommend this story with lots of thumbs up. 😀 I loved the emotional impact and the character development and the sighing and crying it induced me to. I will definitely be reading more Eloisa James.

With This Kiss: Part Three

Lieutenant Colin Barry returns from the wars injured in body and spirit, knowing that he has no right to steal Grace from the arms of her fiancé. Yet the same warrior’s spirit that won so many battles at sea is prompting him to throw propriety to the winds, imitate his pirate father, and simply take what he most desires!

Author’s Note: Don’t forget to read Parts One and Two! Reading this installment first would be like eating the icing before you even get it onto a cupcake.
