F.A.Q.s
Or questions I ask myself infrequently
Q. Who is The Book Tart?
A. Me! I love to read. Let me reiterate- I LOVE to read. .. I moved a couple of years ago into a place that is completely furnished. But I rented a Budget truck to move all my books! LOL I had over 25 boxes of books and Yes I had to keep them all. *shaking head* silly question. I buy over 20 books a month. Mostly romance, but really whatever attracts my interest. Addicted to books… Who me? Whatever gave you that idea? I figure there are worse things I could do then read… A lot
Now for the “Tart” part of The Book Tart – well, I think of tart as something sweet and a bit sour… like a cherry, or me. Also, the word feels retro and reminds me of saucy, flirty pinups- which I like.
If you have a question I have not addressed please contact me and I will do my best to reply. And please contact me if you know of a book or books that are missing from my New Fiction Release database and I would be happy to add them ![]()
Q. What is The Book Tart?
A. A place for readers to share their love of books, to discover new books in the New Fiction Release section, to find books they may like in My Collection. And to encourage me to read more of my TBR mountain!
Q. Where is The Book Tart?
A. Working or reading most likely.
Q. Why is The Book Tart?
A. Well, it started as a way to FORCE order on my chaotic book collection. I thought I would organize and post my collection so I could see what I own and have/haven’t read- and to help me stop buying duplicates! Then I decided as long as I was undertaking the project, why not make it a way for me to share my passion for all things fiction and possibly help others discover books to try. I wanted a list of new releases so I can always be ready for upcoming book releases… It has turned out to be WAY more work than I imagined! Lol
Q. How is The Book Tart?
A. It’s a project that I have a lot of help with.
First of all BadAss Builders, website builders extraordinaire! They have helped me take an idea and make it into a reality.
Next my friend, and photographer, Carol Miller for making one of my dreams come true and photographing me as a pinup and giving me permission to use the images.
Igor Lukyanov, A brilliant artist, who created some of the pinup drawings of me on this site. He is a dream to work with!
And then my family and friends, thank you for listening to me FREAK out over this project and talk me off the proverbial wall- and not letting me give up. Luv you! Also, thanks to the ones who have agreed to help me out and review books… more on that coming soon…
(((hugs))) Queen of Tarts
