Going For Four

Best friends? Check. Baking buddies? Check.  Sizzling chemistry? Double check.  Amazing sex? Nope.  Wait, what? Cody and Olivia are perfect for each other; they laugh, they bake, they hang out and just generally feel right when they are together.  Plus they have some serious hot chemistry.  There is just one small problem, Conner Dixon, Olivia’s big brother and Cody’s best friend.  He’s warned Cody about starting anything with his sister in fact he’s absolutely forbidden it.  As the youngest of five, Olivia has always listened and trusted in her brother so if he doesn’t trust Cody with her heart there has to be a reason.Maid-_of_TartsCody Madsen is a sexy, hot fire chief that can bake.  Who wouldn’t fall for this guy?  He knows why Conner forbids him from dating Olivia and he understands.  He wouldn’t allow guy like him with his past to date Olivia either, in fact he’s already had a “talk” with a few of the guys trying to date her.  The willingness Cody has to basically do anything and be anything Olivia needs or wants is awe inspiring.  I mean he’s flat out in love with her and he’s willing to do anything to preserve their friendship, even signing up for a dating website.  That’s true love right there.

Olivia is the youngest of the Dixon siblings and is this sweet, kind, and generous woman who believes in romance and true love.  She thinks she’s found her perfect partner and destiny in her best friend Cody.  They both love to bake, watch romantic comedies, and the heat between them is scorching hot.  The only problem is her big brother.  I freaking love the way Olivia stood up for herself and what she wants, showing everybody that she doesn’t need to be protected or watched over like a little kid.

Going for Four gives you the perfect recipe for love and romance.  A little drama, some sexual tension and frustration, stomach hurting laugh out loud moments and of course really hot sex.  Erin Nicholas provides us with another wonderful sexy story and the desperate question of when does Conner get his?

Here to serve, :p

“It’s either true love…or the biggest mistake they’ve ever made. “

“Counting on Love, Book 4”

Hot firefighter Cody Madsen has stayed away from Olivia Dixon for almost two years-technically. Even though he talks to her every day and sees her every weekend. But there’s no kissing, touching, or telling her how he really feels. Because they’re “just friends.” Anything more than that would mean crossing the line that Olivia’s older brother has firmly drawn between them.

Olivia wants what her three sisters have-true love. She could almost believe she’s found it with Cody, if it weren’t for the fact that he’s her older brother’s best friend and her brother won’t have it. And he’s never steered her wrong before. Her head is telling her to trust her brother, but her heart won’t let go of Cody.

Her solution? A dating site where she and Cody can each find their “Perfect Pick” once and for all.

But when the site yields some unexpected results, their real feelings come front and center. And they have to decide if it’s worth the risk to cross the line from friendship to love after all.

Warning: Contains a starry-eyed romantic, a wannabe knight in shining armor, and chocolate chip cookies. A “lot” of chocolate chip cookies.
