Me: Megan! Come on in hon! Welcome to Tartlandia. Let me have your coat and scarf and boots and mittens. 😉 Gahhh! It’s cold here in the mountains of Colorado. You’ve been dealing with some cold in Texas too haven’t you? Oh! Can I get you a drink? Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot buttered rum… (that actually sounds odd…) 😛

Megan: Hi Kat! It’s so pretty here in Tartlandia, it’s like stepping into another world full of…tarts. 😉 And yes, I was stuck in my house for over a week because of all the ice. It was pretty flipping awful. I’m glad that life has returned to normal now. *cue Jack Sparrow voice* I’d like a nice hot buttered rum!

Me: The rum IS gone! gahhh! fix the uh-oh. STAT

*Collapses on couch and gives Megan her drink* Can you believe it’s the week before Christmas?! How did that happen? *fishes marshmallow out of hot chocolate and eats it before it melts.* Are you all decorated, wrapped and ready? I’m getting there…. Maybe.

Megan: *Smiles and sits* It’s the week before Christmas? WTF? Why didn’t anyone tell me!

Me: 😯 I wish I could forget! lol 😛

Megan: Well, I was going to work on the sequel to Alive, called Infected, but I got this wild hair and started writing a dark contemporary erotic romance titled Butchered Love about a woman on trial for murdering her husband. (Yes, I am officially a crazy person). *shrugs and winks*

Me: OOOOooo I’m intrigued!

Yay! I’ll keep my eye out. I love the blue hair on the cover of Drowning In Rapture. She intrigues me. 🙂

1. What do you have on your fridge door? –lot’s of pictures and drawings of things my son claims are flowers and the Mario brothers.
2. What’s your favorite smell/scent? – Sugar nipple bacon salad. Don’t ask. *creepy wink*
3. Have you ever entered a talent contest? –Once in fifth grade. Me and my ventriloquist Charlie killed it!
4. What’s your favorite zombie movie/show? –Hmmm, I’m going to follow the masses and say The Walking Dead.
5. What’s on your tivo (or to be watched list)? Snapped. I love that show!
6. Do you have any secret family recipes? No way. I try and stay far away form the kitchen.

7. If you were in a band, what instrument/role would you play?? I would play the tambourine because I’m a boss.

8. Do you have a green thumb? I’ve only managed to keep a cactus alive..so no.

9. If you had a warning label, what would yours say? WARNING: IS SECRETLY A FISH THAT LOVES BOYBANDS
