I am so in love with Nulli Para Ora’s hero from Dragon Revealed… Lohin. *swoon* I am very happy Nulli brought her stories to my attention! I love her voice and was immediately sucked into this story. Click HERE for my review.
I have Nulli visiting Tartlandia and she’s a darling. Get to know her a bit more with me and join us for a quickie. 😉 Oh! Make sure you enter her contest too.
The Queen of Tarts
Me: Nulli! Gahhh Hon you are a darling dear for dealing with my space cadety-ness. (((hugs))) I’m so glad our playdate finally worked out! Come on in and get cozy on my virtual couch. It’s red and velvet… *pets couch* Oh! Can I get you something to drink? Coffee, tea, water, soda… something festive and fermented? 😉
Nulli: *gets comfy, leans back* Tea would be lovely, thank you. No worries, I’m always happy to make time for play dates. Nice place you’ve got here. There’s a story for this setting. Brooding alpha male, demure, but sometimes cheeky bibliophile… *makes notes*
Me: *hands Nulli her drink and collapses onto the couch* ahhhhh This season is all “Go, Go, go.” It’s nice to sit and relax for a bit. *grabs handful of m&ms* How are you holding up with the holiday business?
Nulli: I love this time of year. As a group fitness instructor, this is when we see lots of energy and determination in the gym. The whirlwind of activity is making it hard for me to find time to write though. Boo for limited writing time. Yay for lots of classes!
Me: Ohhh! I agree Yay! on the good energy. Boo! on the writing time crunch… but being busy means time goes by fast. 😉
Soooo… we’ve interacted a bit on twitter and I’m so glad you persevered through my bad emailing response time and rescheduling drama… I just finished reading Tarial and Lohin’s story in Dragon Revealed! First off….well, Dragons! and then their journey of acceptance, love, adventure and magic. *sigh* oh my! I loved every moment and couldn’t put it down. I’m so happy to be introduced to your storytelling! Thank you again for not giving up on me. 😀
Nulli: I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I’ve always wanted to write a story with dragons. I really wanted to delve into the human aspect of things too. I knew I wanted magic, myth, and legend, but as usual (for me anyway), I wanted to make my own version of things.
Me:I was sucked into this book. I loved your world building and…. Can you tell me more about your Legends of the Chromatic Dragons series and since Dragon Revealed was released in September… how long till the sequel?! *puppy eyes*
Nulli: I decided on the name, Legends of the Chromatic Dragons because of the schools of magic represented. Every color has specific abilities. Each book will introduce other dragons and characters as they navigate through their world, face their demons, and attempt to stay alive, find love, and find purpose.
As for the sequel, I’ve outlined it in my head. Mind cloning me so I can work and write at the same time? 😉
*Lohin enters the room* “Nulli, I’m quite certain we could find ways to motivate you. I’ve picked up a special book just for this purpose. Will you read it to me? Or perhaps Kat will be willing to read it?”
Me: *blush* I really liked that book…. I loved the scenes with Tari and Lohin reading that book. 😉
What are you working on next? You have a delicious looking backlist, dragons, werewolves, magic and more. Your head must be a very busy place! <g>
Nulli: There are so many characters clamoring for dominance in my head, it’s absolutely crazy and wonderful and distracting! My current works in progress are a story about a vampire and lion shifter, and another story about Native American shifters. I love creating the mythology for those!
Me: A lion shifter?! Gimme!
Alright darlin’ before I let you escape my clutches…. I have some very important questions to ask! Uh-huh *nods* the answer to life the universe and everything depends on your answers! (not really. but they do say curiosity killed the kat! 😛 )
Me: Thank you! Thank you for hanging out with me at The Book Tart! I would adore having you come back… I love celebrating book birthdays. Hint hint 😉
Nulli: I’d love to come back. Perhaps I can tempt you with another title. *dangles flash drive between her fingers*
Me: oooo well… they all look yummy! But since your second Legends of the Chromatic Dragon’s book isn’t written yet and you’re still writing your lion shifter… maybe I’ll try Rhuul’s Flame next. 😉
PS. Make sure you enter Nulli’s giveaway! *waves down*
