Queen of Tarts Review of
Reflected in You
by Sylvia Day
I could not put this book down! Today is it’s the print release and I already received my Amazon shipping notification 🙂 I am hooked on the journey of Eva and Gideon. Heads up :p This is definitely an erotic romance. It’s very steamy. There’s lots of sex and it’s very descriptive in the word choices and terms. That being said, it’s also a very powerful novel of love and the relationship struggles of two immensely damaged people who are drawn to each other and see a better reflection of who they can be because of each others love . *sigh* It’s very beautiful… If you have NOT read Bared To You (here’s my review), don’t read this one yet!

The Art of my Life
by Ann Lee Miller
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect… I read Ann’s Kicking Eternity and it was ok… It’s inspirational fiction and not something I normally read. BUT I was drawn to her characters, especially Cal and Aly and when I saw that The Art of my Life was their story I had to give it a try. I’m glad I did. The Art of my Life is catagorized as New Adult so it fits in with my Young Adult Celebration too <g>

What was the inspiration/motivation behind the book?
I wrote Kicking Eternity because I have struggled, like the college kids and young adults who hang out at my house with my kids, to determine which dreams to pursue. I am intrigued by the “negative” things in our lives that push us toward that daring thing we were created to do.
As a young person, I dreamed of living as a hermit on the coast of North Carolina—which I had never seen—and writing. Instead I married and had four kids—and wrote. The hermit thing was a product of how I had been warped by a difficult childhood. The life I got oh-so-much-better suited me.
I’ve spent part of every year at camp for most my life—a natural setting for my book.

Queen of Tarts Review of
by Nicole Flocton
When I finished reading Masquerade my stomach was a bit in knots from the last few intense scenes. I loved it! I loved Sophie and how brave she was when she met Alex and chose to act on their connection for a night of magic. That she was holding that memory close and then to find out she would be working with him! lol I connected with the emotions of the heroine and hero and I was wrapped up in their drama…

Queen of Tarts Review of Bared To You by Sylvia Day
First off, this is my review of the erotic romance Bared To You and my reaction to the unabridged audio recording. The audio books is 11.5 hours long and narrated by Jill Redfield and I borrowed it from my girl Dawn of Day Dreaming Reviews .
Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! I felt a bit like Shirley Temple hearing something shocking. I’m sure I’ve read books as explicit as this one, I am a romance reader, from the sweet to the very sensual :-p BUT listening to it? Hearing some of the words and terms and activities out loud? *blush*
